Since January 1, 2010, BGS Smartcard Systems AG operates under the name of Net1 Universal Technologies (Austria) AG. This marks the final phase of BGS' merging process with Net1 which started in August 2008. The Net1 Group is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, and ranks as one of the leading smart card payment system providers worldwide. Although the name of the company will change, the team and its spirit will remain as dedicated and committed to its customers, partners, and suppliers as ever before.
